Last week Rihanna was spotted leaving Kanye West’s apartment looking fabulous in a sexy nude and black corseted strapless dress from Alexander Wang’s Pre-Fall 2009 collection with black Jil Sander platform pumps and a silver metallic hobo bag. LOOOOVE this dress (it’s Alexander Wang, so no surprise here); Rihanna really wowed me with this look. Let’s hope she stays on that course fashionwise.

One year ago a fresh-faced Keira Knightley attended a photocall for her film “The Edge of Love” in Edinburgh wearing a cute floral printed blouse from Topshop (£35) which had a black contrasting collar and ruffled bib. Keira paired her Topshop blouse with a black high-waisted pencil skirt and matching black lace-up booties.

I love this look on Keira, she looks so healthy and happy and her outfit is young and fun, it would make a great wear-to-work ensemble.

When I first saw these cute red suede Louboutin slingbacks, I instantly associated them with Blair Waldorf of Gossip Girl. Being quintessentially Blair they perfectly fit her prep style and would look great with a striped cashmere sweater and cropped dark washed jeans. Azzedine Alaïa is loved by the celebrity world, so it’s no surprise to see female celebrities flaunting his designs on a regular basis. Charlize Theron for example looks chic wearing her black Alaïa sandals with a black tunic dress while Katie Holmes took a more casual approach by pairing her tan version (my personal favorite!) with a plaid blouse and cuffed boyfriend jeans. I have seen countless knockoffs of these Givenchy gladiator booties, but Boutique 9’s Joleen sandals are probably the best of the bunch. They are not 100% the same, but you can clearly see the inspiration Boutique 9 has taken from the Givenchys.
