What I love about Alexander McQueen is that he’s not only great in designing clothes, but he also happens to make some of the most beautiful shoes. OK, I might be addicted to McQueen and therefore am a little biased. These black patent ankle strap peep-toes however are simply adorable. The price not so much.

Back in June 2006, wild child Lindsay Lohan sported a beautiful black and white Hervé Léger bandage dress when she attended the Cartier and Interview Magazine’s Charity Love Bracelet Party. Lindsay wore her hair in a loose updo and accessorized with Cartier jewels, a black clutch and black slingback peep-toes.
More than a year later in October 2007, Khloe Kardashian wore the same black and white Hervé frock to the premiere of “Keeping up with the Kardashians” which she teamed with silver bracelets and black peep-toe Louboutin pumps.
Carmen Electra wore a taupe version of the dress at NYC Fashion Week in 2007.
I prefer the dress on Lindsay because a) she accessorized better b) her updo allows to see more of the dress and c) because the dress hugs her in all the right places whereas I do not think that it flatters Khloe’s body shape very much. But what do you think?

Max Azria is the chef designer of both BCBG and Hervé Léger, so I guess this cheaper knockoff version is his take on Hervé Léger 4 Less.

Nicole Richie looked absolutely fabulous when she was out and about in Beverly Hills a few weeks ago. Nicole was wearing a red double breasted coat from Sonia by Sonia Rykiel, black skinny jeans & matching Louboutins with white trimmed Chanel sunglasses, a slouchy Rick Owens beanie and her much loved Balenciaga motorcycle bag.

These Fendi platform pumps sure are very beautiful, but unfortunately also very pricey at $705 a pair. If you are are looking for a budget version of these, you have come to the right place.

Bebe “Mariah” Satin Peep-toe Pumps
Now this is a spot on knockoff coming from Bebe. The upper material might be different and the pumps aren’t available in beige, but apart from that, these satin peep-toe pumps are virtually identical. The double platform, the bows on the front, the extreme high heel, it’s all there. These Fendi knockoffs originally retailed for $149, but have been reduced to $101.49 since. They also come in black satin or gold snakeskin ($169).
